Emhart, Dustin (2011), Accounting; Dustin Emhart attended North Carolina State University, achieving both a BS in Accounting and a Master of Accounting. He maintains Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credentials in both Indiana and Georgia. Mr. Emhart’s career has taken him through many states including North Carolina, Texas, Indiana, Washington DC, and finally Georgia. In DC, he was involved in an audit of the Department of Treasury and Homeland Security. He has nine years in public practice at firms such as KPMG in Washington DC, as well as several years teaching experience at places such as Edgecombe Community College in North Carolina.

After working for Maui Community College from 2006-2009, Karol accepted a full-time position in 2009 as a Mathematics Instructor for North Georgia Technical College; she has more than 20 years teaching experience.

Treadman, Jack (2008), Math; Jack Treadman earned his Master’s Degree in Education concentrating in mathematics from North Georgia College and State University in 2005 and has continued his graduate studies in mathematics at Piedmont College. Gulle, Jeff (2007), Photography; Jeff is an honor graduate of North Georgia Technical College where he received both his Diploma and Associates Degree. In addition, he has a BA in Art/Photography from Armstrong Atlantic State University. Jeff is a Certified Professional Photographer and holds the Photographic Craftsman degree. He has taught photography for many years and has been a full time professional photographer for over twenty years. Jeff has won many awards for his commercial and fine art photography. Jeff enjoys living in the North Georgia mountains with his wife and two children.

Loring, Jim (2007), Photography; Jim is British and his teaching experience began in 1997 when he taught photojournalism as part of the BA Journalism program at Surrey Institute of Art & Design in the UK. His photographic experience spans more than 23 years with over 65 assignments worldwide. In 1987 he covered stories in Romania documenting the impact of Nicolae Ceausescu’s resettlement policy. This led to opportunities with some of the world’s leading relief and development agencies including Care International, World Vision and Save the Children. His images have followed the themes embraced by many relief agencies and include healthcare, concern for the environment, food programs, water projects, work, education, reconciliation and the challenge of war and conflict. The range of Jim’s work includes architecture, product photography, editorial portraiture and wedding photography. He has photographed British celebrities and members of the Royal family and on a lighter note his personal work includes wildlife and nature photography.

Baker, Lynn (2011), Practical Nursing; Lynn is a Licensed Registered Nurse and has been teaching nursing since 2005. She is certified in the following areas: CCRN, PCCN, TNCC, ACLS, PALS, NRP, BLS. Ms. Baker practiced nursing in several states (Illinois, Ohio, Mississippi) giving a good overview of nursing differences between the northern US and southern US. Her formal education includes her LPN from Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg, Illinois, an Associate Degree in Nursing from Edison State in Piqua, Ohio and a Bachelor Degree in Nursing from Ohio Northern in Ada, Ohio.
