Requirements:
- Age
16 or older
- High
School diploma or GED required for admission
- Completion
of application process including ASSET placement test or
provide SAT, ACT, or CPE scores less than five years old
Purpose:
The purpose of the Technical Studies associate degree program
is to provide learning opportunities to students to develop
academic, technical, and professional knowledge and skills
required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement.
Concentrations in Electrical Construction and Maintenance,
Electrical Control Systems, Machine Tool Technology, and Welding
and Joining Technology will provide the technical component
to prepare graduates to work as technicians in their chosen
area and at the same time through the addition of a planned
sequence of core courses be prepared for upward mobility in
their profession.
