Turf & Golf Course Management
Overview
The Turf and Golf Course Management program prepares students for employment in a variety of positions in today’s golf and turf industry. The Turf and Golf Course Management program provides learning opportunities which introduce, develop, and reinforce academic and occupational knowledge, skills, and attitudes required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement.

- 5000 square feet putting green built to United States Golf Association specifications
- Environmental sciences department has over $400,000 worth of professional equipment to train on.
- We offer summer creeping bentgrass experience.
- Basic equipment maintenance performed on campus by turf students.
- State pesticide licensure training offered on campus as well as testing through the state.
- Test plots are established and maintained by turf students.
- Daily maintenance of putting green including mowing, pesticide application, fertilization, topdressing, and aerification is performed by turf students.
- Students attend local, state, and national conferences and seminars.
- Equipment and product demonstrations held on campus by industry proven manufacturers.
- 100% graduate placement rate.
