The mission of the North Georgia Technical College Library is to provide quality resources and services that support and enhance the total educational program of the College. This is accomplished by ensuring that the North Georgia Technical College library is adequate and accessible for all students, staff and faculty; and by providing adequate information resources in a variety of formats as well as instruction in how to use these resources efficiently.

Objectives of the library that support this mission are:
- To provide access to library services for all members of the NGTC community
- To provide a wide range of quality information resources in a variety of formats
- To provide services which are customer focused and will encourage self-directed, lifelong learning
- To provide resources and services that are continuously improved based on input from the NGTC community
- To provide assistance to the wider community in efforts to improve the economic growth and development of the Northeast Georgia region
