5S
The purpose of this course is to familiarize participants with the characteristics and processes of 5S. 5S is a system of five steps that when implemented will create a more clean, organized, and ultimately more productive and efficient workplace. The five steps of 5S are: sort, set in order (simplify), sweep and shine (systematically clean), standardize, and sustain. The use of visual signals is an important part of the five-step process of 5S. The session will cover the concepts of 5S, as well as the practical applications of 5S.
