Builders Licensing Exam Prep
Prepare to take the two-part Georgia Builders License Exam. This course will cover preparation and test strategies for professionals seeking a Residential, Residential-Light, or General Contractor license in the State of Georgia. Books not included.
Cost: $199.00.  Hours: 12.00.

CDL Review
Prepare to take the test to become a licensed Commercial Truck Driver with this hands-on review. Topics include theory, pre-trip inspection, safety, and test advice. NOTE: Students need to go by the DDS and pick up a book before the first night of class. Driving tests are scheduled in Clarkesville; students must furnish their own truck for the driving portion of the exam.
Cost: $150.  Hours: 20.00.

Certified Pool Operator
This class provides 16 hours of classroom training with an end of course test on topics such as codes and calculations, water testing, maintenance, and operational problems. Students passing the final exam will be certified for five years.
Cost: $350.00.  Hours: 16.00; CEUs: 1.60.

Heart Saver CPR and First Aid

In this three-part series, we cover the basics a professional home inspector should know and help you prepare to pass the National Home Inspector Examination (NHIE).

Massage Therapy:  Hot Stone Methods
There is perhaps nothing more relaxing than a luxurious hot stone massage. In this class you will study the history and variations of this ancient Japanese modality, and learn through observation the basic techniques for giving a wonderful spa adaptation of the original healing massage.

Small Police Department Operations
Upon completion of this eight-hour course, attendees will have acquired additional skills and knowledge to enhance their management skills of a small agency. Through lecture, discussions, and handouts, attendees will gain a broad perspective on the various tools and knowledge needed to enhance their department.

Principles of Police Supervision
Upon completion of this eight-hour course, Law Enforcement personnel will have acquired additional skills and knowledge to enhance their supervision style. Soil Erosion Recertification
Get your continuing education hours to renew your certification. Course will cover topics such as best management practices (BMPs) and new techniques in soil erosion control and water conservation. This course been approved for 4 hours of continuing education hours for either the Level IA or Level IB and is designed to train individuals involved in land disturbing activities to have the ability to sample and monitor their respective job sites. This course will cover all aspects of sampling and monitoring such as reporting and record keeping, soil factors and stream dynamics, sampling requirements and techniques, turbidmeter use and calibration, and understanding topographical maps and contour lines. Each attendee will prepare samples in the classroom. Each attendee will be instructed how to properly prepare sample cells for turbidity measurements as well as the actual calibration and use of a turbidmeter.
Cost: $50.  Hours: 4.00; CEUs: 0.40.
