The Low Voltage Security/Fire Alarm Technician technical certificate of credit provides training opportunities for individuals to gain entry-level employment in the field of low voltage systems including security systems and fire alarm systems. Courses in the technical certificate provide both classroom and hands-on learning in the areas of safety, low voltage cabling, grounding, and bonding, security and fire alarm system installation and maintenance, closed circuit television and access control principles and application.
