The purpose of the Environmental Horticulture Associate Degree
program is to provide educational opportunities to individuals
that will enable them to obtain the knowledge, skills, and
attitudes necessary to succeed as technicians in the field
of Environmental Horticulture. Learning opportunities develop
academic, technical, and professional knowledge and skills
required for job acquisition, retention, and especially advancement.
The program emphasizes a combination of specific technical
knowledge and skills and a firm foundation in science, mathematics,
introduction to computers, English and communication.
