The Turf and Golf Course Management program prepares students
for employment in a variety of positions in today's turf management
industry. The Turf and Golf Course Management program provides
learning opportunities which introduce, develop, and reinforce
academic and occupational knowledge, skills, and attitudes
required for job acquisition, retention, and advancement.
Graduates of the program receive a diploma in Turf and Golf
Course Management and career opportunities will include the
following:
- assistant superintendent
- specialized golf course technicians
- landscape supervisor
- lawn maintenance supervisor
- sod farm production management
- athletic / recreational facility management
- sales of turf related products
